Hello - I just found out that my mom has cancer in her liver. She first had breast cancer 18 years ago (when I was 6 years old) and has been lucky to make it this far. She has had some spots of cancer in her lungs over the past 6 years, but they have been treated and stable with medications other than chemo therapy. She hasn't been feeling well for the past year or so. Her doctor finally had her go for a CT scan where they found spots on her liver. The results from her biopsy just came in and the spots are the same type of cancer that she had in her breasts.
I am SO scared. I have never felt this bad in my life. My mom is the closest person in the world to me - I can't go a day without talking to her. This has hit me so hard... I am barely making it from day to day.
I know I have to be strong and support her as much as possible. How do people get through things like this? It's the worst feeling in the world to know that I might not have my mom for much longer. :(

Oh my I am so sorry your Mom has received this news.
