Hi Everyone,
This is my first time on this message board and I'm glad I found it-It feels good to know that there are so many people out there going through the same thing as me.
My mom has stage IV breast cancer that has recently has moved into her brain-she is in the hospital receiving radiation and chemo. She is so weak that she cannot be at home during this process and will most likely be moved to a short term rehabilitation facility for however long it takes. She has 3 more weeks of radiation. The doctor has no idea how long her survival time is-a few months a few years-no one really knows.
The really hard part is that I live out of state, I just came back from visiting her but my dilemma is-should I take a leave of absence from my job and relocate so I can be with her during this hard time? I don't want to leave my job or home. I have a twin sister who lives near hear and she does as much as she can. I plan to visit every other weekend to see her as much as possible but maybe this is not enough?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Welcome to the board, Debra.
