I'm writing this with mixed emotions...and you'll probably see every one of them in this letter! The doctor finally made it official for me. We knew the biopsys were cancerous, we just werent sure what stage they were in. They took samples from 3 organs. the colon and uterous are PRE CANCER!!! but unfortunately the vulva is not. It's stage 1. what that means is now it has gone beyond lasor surgery, but they can go in and actually cut out the bad stuff, stitch me up and let me go home 2 days later! i also found out that it was caused from a rare skin disease that i cant spell the name of, and know nothing about. but at least now i know what im walking into. i was too overwhelmed at probibly not having to go through chemo and radiaton...maybe.. if all goes how it should. They warned me the recovery will be long and pretty painful because of the spot its in...lets just say..."i wont be riding a bicycle any time soon!!!

Philly, Suz...thank you both so much. you're letters helped me know im not alone. to everyone else waiting for results...my heart is with you....

hi suz,

i just wanted to poke my head in and say hi. i find out today when the big day is...im soooooo nervous. i read up on a lot of the procedures they'll be doing, and well....maybe i shouldnt have, because even though i knew it wouldnt be pleasant, i didnt realize the that they need to cut out alot of the exterior parts of my anatomy. kinda like a mastectomy i guess. they will try to make it all appear "normal" again. whatever normal is. maybe they can take the skin graphs from my butt....i could use a little taken off of that area anyway! : )

you've helped me in so many ways. talking is such good therapy isnt it? i have every intention of keeping tabs on you as well, and ANY time you need to talk,
