On Monday February 4, 2008, My husband and I will celebrate our 3rd Wedding Anniversary. We were so happy that we found each other and He ask me to marry him 5 days after we met!!! How wonderful that was and we were married in about a month after the proposal. We had so many plans and we excited about our new life together.
Shortly after the wedding ( a few months) he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in the last stages and was given 3 - 5 months to live. We were devastated!!! I immediately shifted from being a new bride to a care giver and after moving back to his home in a very small town where I did not know anyone but him, I lovingly and willing committed myself to being there and caring for my new husband . By the way, he had never been sick in his life . So together we slowly journeyed through the recommended surgery, called a "whipple". After 5 hours in the operating room the procedure was aborted in the middle of the surgery, due to the tumor being attached to an artery, we walked through weeks of radiation, months of chemo, 4 stints implanted, numerous doctors visits, ultrasounds, extreme Jaundice, unimaginable pain, and numerous months in the hospital ( the hospital was a two and a half hour ride from where we lived, so I lived in the hospital with him since I did not know anyone in that city).
We fought this intruder ( Pancreatic Cancer) with diet and other supplements and he lived 18 months from the diagnoses!!!
How do I celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary without him. My Ben Went to eternal sleep a few weeks ago, with me sitting beside him ,on his hospital Bed rubbing is chest and praying for him. . I love and miss him so much and now my new husband is truly " Gone from my sight.

I am so sorry for your loss.
Thank you , Thank you, Thank you!!
