My mom has been fighting breast cancer for 7 years. She has survived this long through her positive attitude, faith, and homeopathic therapies. She is 72 and her cancer has been in the bone for the past three years, but she is still going. Up until a few weeks ago she probably has had more energy than I have. She has been on a 80% raw food diet, juices every day, and has gone through several homeopathic treatments including a clinic in Mexico. I could go on about every thing she has done and believe a lot of what she has done has kept her going this long. She is an amazing woman and still believes that God and healthy living will bring her through. The problem is she is suddenly going down hill fast and has been losing too much weight. I spent many tears through the years when I really thought she was dying, but she always got better. Now it isn't real to me yet, but I think she won't be able to come out of it this time. She hasn't been to an onocologyst lately. She says going through all the conventional tests would only shake her faith. She is in pain and has started using a cane to get around and thinking it is time to move on to a walker. She won't take the pain medication she was given as she feels it only adds chemicals to her body. I am writing for a few reasons. I would like to hear from people in a similar situation and also feel I can offer hope for others. At the moment I would like to hear ideas from someone who might have ideas of what healthy foods she might be able to eat that would help her gain weight. She has been eating a little more cooked food and even the occasional meat as long as it is free range and certified it has been organically fed.

Thank you,
