Ok so I don't want this question to start a debate or anything but if you had a chance to find out a prognosis would you? My MIL has the chance to know. She had psyched herself out and was ready to hear so wasn't her husband. Then when we got to the Drs. he told her he didnt want her to know because he wants her to continue to fight it. Is it better know? Or is it not better to know? Do you think it changes the way a person "fights" to stay a live?? I have a ton of questions going through my head...
Also, they said thta the mass is in her fatty tissue in her stomach. So its kind of spread all around her fat tissue. The Dr. Says he can try adn shrink but not to 0. He says its pretty big in there. Is it really really bad that its in her fat tissue? I mean I know cancer in general isn't good. But you know what I mean. I think I am the only one that wants to hear the prognosis but I don't want to hear it you know? I want to know how bad it actually is.
Thanks for listening to me...
Manda

First let me say a prognosis is just a 'guess' really on the part of the drs.
Manda, this is a hard question.
