I am not really sure if this is the right place or not so please forgive me.And i really don't know how to say all this but i will try.
Back in august of this year my grandfather was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer as soon as i got the call from my mother i was looking up everything on it and thought i could deal on my own.(Living 2 hours away i really have no choice). As time went on and the most test he had the more bad news we got the dr.s told him that since it is soo advanced and they did not catch it sooner the only hope was chemo.Since then they found yet more problems he not only has "spots" on his lungs but aslo a tumor on his ribs and can not do chemo until that is taken care of.But before the could do anything about the tumor they wanted to run yet more tests. And they discovered he also has colon cancer i just got the news of this tonight. He is meeting with a dr. tomorrow to talk about if he is doing chemo or not but he already said he will not do it cause it is in more then one place. He is already on oxygen and is slowly needing to use a walker.
But does anyone have any real advice about both lung and colon cancer and any kind of time frame?Or what we can expect in the upcomming months?(i know my mom is hiding facts from me but i have to know what to expect)
I really don't have many questions just needing a place to talk with others about all this.I don't want to burden my mom crying to her about it.

I'm sorry to hear about your grandpa!
