My husband Jack and I have been very happily married for 5 years now. We’re both 32, have no children and used to have an incredible sex life. Even after 5 years of marriage and 18 months of dating we could barely keep our hands off each other. About a year ago he was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and underwent aggressive chemo treatment on a weekly basis with side-effects leaving him extremely and violently sick each time.

We’ve been through absolute hell together this past year and I thought if anything it would bring us even closer together if at all possible. It’s been 3 months since he’s gone into remission and for whatever reason my sex drive is completely dead. He’s absolutely gorgeous and women throw themselves at him at literally every chance they get and he treats me like absolute royalty so what is my problem? He’s initiated several times and I’ve rejected him time and time again and it’s really hurting him.

We’ve had several arguments about this always ending with him begging me to tell him what he did wrong and asking if I just don’t want him anymore and me walking out because I just can’t explain it myself. What the hell is wrong with me?

Cancer puts tremendous stress not only on the patient, but on the family, too.
