Not sure if this is the right area to post, but I have a question about how to support a family member going through cancer - from long distance.
My SIL is in her 7 or 8th round of chemo for nodular sclerosing Hodgkin's. She's starting to get pretty down and wants to feel more like herself and be able to be a mom to her two little ones.
She lives in IN, and I live in OH. We're both not able to travel well right now to make a personal visit, as she's going through the treatments and I'm 6 1/2 mo pregnant. I'd like to send her a care package to let her know we're thinking of her and show our support and love.
I was thinking along the lines of a card, some lotions, maybe a gift card or two? Does anyone have any recommendations on what things would be appreciated for someone going through chemotherapy? She's still working, taking care of an infant and toddler, and is just trying to get through each day. My BIL is a saint - and taking on the roles of mom and dad these last few months. I thought anything that would help to cheer her up would be great.
Thanks for your help!

I think the idea of lotions is a good one.
