On12/15/o8 my hubby finally got to see the oncologist. He was very nice and reassuring. The first thing he said as he walked into the room was "I am going to schedule a biopsy"in in about 5 min he had spoken to the surgeon Had an appointment for 12/20/08 .The biopsy was done today. Hubby is fine he is hanging speaker wires. The oncologist was a little irritated because the Primary MD had not done anything.Funny thing is at least 3 people were in the operating room for the same thing.

Does anyone know how long it takes for the results to come in? Hubby has an appointment with the surgeon next Tues 12/30/08 and appointment with oncologist 1/07/08. funny thing I still have not found out anything but i fell a little better.

Thanks,

Lori

Hi, Lori! Once the ball gets rolling, so to speak, it does have a way of making us feel somewhat better. It's in the knowing that now we can begin to move forward. In answer to your question, it does take a few days for test results to come back and then, of course, your doctor needs time to review them. Also, some doctors prefer to wait and share the results with you at appointment time.

Hang in there and let us know how we can help, okay? Enjoy this holiday season and I'm wishing you and hubby all the best in the New Year!
