Kel, Stephanie will be your pumping buddy. Buddies support each other and share experiences via e-mail. Send each other an e-mail to make it official! Good luck!
I'm new to the board. My daughter was born April 1st and because of a variety of reasons couldn't/wouldn't breastfeed no matter what anyone did. So I made the choice to pump. I have days where I feel I can keep it up for a year. I think it's sooo important for her to get breastmilk. But I just can't seem to find any support from other women that are doing this. A lot of my friends think I'm nuts for doing it, and anything I've read is either breastfeed or formula bottle feed. I find that really frustrating. I just need to know that there is other women out there doing this and their feelings.
There are lots of women exclusively pumping for their children, many of them, as you may have gleened from this board, are doing it long term with great success. You have found the right place - You will find lots of support here (I have!) and great information. Congratulations on the birth of your child and welcome to the club!
Hi, I am sort of new to this board as well. I have posted a couple of times and really appreciate all of the information and support. I would love to have a pumping buddy, even though I'm not exactly sure what that means. If anyone else is interested, let me know.
Hi, I'm new the the board also. I'm mom to Bella who was born two weeks ago at 35 weeks. She is unable to BF so I'm exclusively pumping. I"d love a pumping buddy--just tell me what to do. : )
