Hi girls,

Freya is over 6 months and she has been on solids for about a month now. She is extremly independent and HATES being spoonfed. As a result we're going Baby Led Weaning route and basically giving her fingerfoods to feed herself. I am amazed how well she's doing - for example for her tea tonight she's had a string of cheese (30gramm) and

When DD started on solid at 6 mons old, she also dropped down her milk intake to 18-20oz.

I've been doing a dreamfed as well LOL, I find it's the only way I can get more milk into her. She takes 4 - 5oz then and it makes a big difference. Thanks for reassurance.

That actually kind of sounds right. Emma at 6 months drank around 16 ounces of breast milk a day. She got a jar of stage 2 baby food twice a day (a fruit and then a veggie). She also got 1/4 cup of rice cereal a day. She is a long but lean baby. I go by the WHO weight charts and she was in the 50% at that age. HTH!
