FAQ-04: How do I know I have the right sized breastshield?


Most of the good hospital grade or professional grade pumps will allow you to change out the breastshield (aka flange, horn) for the proper size.

I used the medium shields that came with my PISA for the first two months that I was pumping - I had no idea until I found this board that they even came in different sizes!

i think this is a good place to mention the pumpin pals shields, as for me, they are more comfortable than any sized horns. they are gently
