I am slowly starting to wean, but I am not sure how to get rid of my overnight pump. I

If you're prone to clogs then I would suggest moving it until it merges with your morning pump. If not, you could try shaving 5 min off every other day until it's gone.

It sounds like you still get a fairly large amount at that pump.

I have decided to reduce the time I pump at the middle of the night pump instead of moving it. I tried moving it and I just got way too uncomfortable and I really don't want to pump for an hour in the am right now. So I have reduced my time by 5 min, but (silly question?) do I still do compressions or is that encouraging more milk to be made?

If you are cutting down your pumping time I would guess you should just pump for comfort and not empty at each pump.

When I weaned I took it really slow and weaned over a period of one month. I was in no hurry, so I extended the gap between pumps gradually and always emptied at each pump.

When you spaced out your pumps did you have to pump longer at each of them?
