Change in Letdown while weaning?

So I started weaning recently....went from pumping every 3 hours for 10 minutes down to every 3 hours for 7 minutes.....Instead of getting 3 oz, I am now getting 1/2 to 1 oz each time (I only pump one side each session). I feel fine, no pain, no more engorgement....I can feel some fullness at times, but not bad.

My question is about my letdown. Initially it would happen within 1-2 mintues. I am noticing now it takes almost 4 minutes. Is this normal? Pretty soon I will be decreasing my minutes to basically just when the letdown starts. Will this just signal to make more milk?

Any ideas or advice??

IMO, it's basically because you're telling your body to slow production, so as things adjust, so does your letdown.

If it isn't sore, red or hot to the touch general rule is you can leave it since you're pretty well weaned, but it's up to you and have comfortable you feel.
