Oh no, i pray your lo does not get it.. i would also have taken out the pump and give bm.. too.. actually last week DS got a bit sick too.. and i gave him all bm no formula.. i'm finally able to do that since i'm making 25 oz now and he is only taking 20 since he is eating solids..

My LO was exposed to H1N1 at her babysitter's house (all 4 kids had fever and vomitting and 1 had to be hospitalized) and she had a 101.4 fever for 2 days and a cough for 4 days... during that time I gave her ALL fresh bm and never touched my freezer stash and that's what I attribute her speedy recovery to! I did not even need to bring her to pedia since her fever was down by the 2nd day :) I'm glad you did not dry up after a whole week! That's great!

Maybe your 6 yr old will take some bm. Don't tell her it's breastmilk, unless she's okay with it. My son would rather be sick than drink breastmilk..lol. But it could help her too.
