My second postpartum visit from AF arrived on April 1st. Jacob is 22 weeks (5 1/2 months) old. He eats every 2 to 3 hours during the day and he had been going for a 6 hour stretch of sleep at night but now is eating every 3 hours during the night too.
I know that pumping output is not an accurate way to measure supply but what about when you are an exclusive pumper half of the time (Jacob always night nurses but there are many days that he prefers bottles).
I think that these huge supply dips that I have been having are directly related to my cycle. I have tried taking fenugreek, with no change and I have tried getting more calcium. I don't know what to do. It seems like the dip occurs right before the time I should be ovulating and it doesn't pick back up until af arrives again, so I have one or two weeks of okay production.
