You are now able to rent a doppler over the internet to listen to the baby's heartbeat. I have had mine for 3 months. At first it was very exciting to have and to be able to let the family listen to the heartbeat with me. Now, it is a relief. I am 25w2d today and have had concerns over baby movement. I was not feeling very much movement at all up until about a week ago. I was very concerned cause everyone I had talked to had already been feeling their baby kick and flip. I hadnt. I checked with my OB, actually broke down in tears when he asked about it. He did say it was nothing to worry about, but my worst fear was that there was a problem. So, what I did everynight, if I hadnt felt any movement that day, I would go home and pull out the doppler and listen to the strong heartbeat of my baby girl. It was SUCH a relief to hear the heartbeat be as strong as it was every day and this really eased my worries on her not moving alot.

Renting the doppler was one of the best things I have done during this pregnancy. You can get them from The one I have is the one that is 49.00 a month. They do have some that are slightly less and you can send it back whenever you are ready..

I waited to rent the doppler until I was about 14 weeks but have had it since then. It is reassuring and soothing to sit and listen to the little heartbeat booming. I wanted ot make sure I wouldn't have a problem finding it and scare myself that way.

I can hear him moving all over, and now when he kicks I can hear that too.

Mine is only $28 a month and that includes shipping here and back.

I think we are sending our back next month.
