lol I suppose that would make it seem like a longer pregnancy because you knew for so long. My cycle was always crazy and off, so I found out around 2 1/2 months. It was nice because I was already in my second trimester by the time I got into my OB/GYN. But it still felt like I had been pregnant for my whole life lol.

i know exactly what you mean. i am now 11weeks but also found out at 4...well i guess it is just the waiting game now. Ironically I have a friend who only just found out she is 6 months pregnant (I have no idea how she could not have suspected earlier.)

This happened to me, too - only, because my cycles are irregular, we didn't realise it was that early until we went for our first ultrasound, and had our due date revised forward three weeks! It was a bit depressing - I want to get this show on the road! ;-P

I found out at about 4 weeks also. I do feel like I have been pregnant for a long time. I realize now I am past the halfway point!

We are all doing a great job! It is tough work being a mom-to-be! We will all get to experience being a mom soon enough though.

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one. I almost feel bad. My friend at work is almost 8 months, and she's misarable half the time, and I'm walking around moaning and groaning at 4 and 1/2 months...lol.

I hear ya! I took a pregnancy test 12 days after I ovulated and found out I was pregnant!! I'd been doing all the fertility tracking, so I was anxious to take the test.

So yes, I feel the same way. I'm 15 weeks now (almost 16) and people keep telling me it'll go by so fast, but not me!! It feels like every week lasts forever... and the doctor appt.s seem sooooo far away!

I feel bad telling all you ladies this...once you start getting REALLY big, the time just drags by. You cant wait to hold your little one. My due date is a short 32 days away. I mean, I am considered full term in 11 days. I found out 3 days before I was even late for my period. I just had a feeling about being pregnant. I FEEL LIKE I HAVE BEEN PREGNANT FOREVER AND I AM SO READY TO MEET MY LITTLE GIRL!!!! Sorry for going on about this but it is so frustrating!!! Best of luck and congrats to all of you!!!

I *knew* I was pregnant before the test even turned positive, so that made for a LONG pregnancy. I was really sick with morning sickness (Actually all day and night sickness) until 20 weeks. Fortunately that went away and I was able to enjoy the last half of my pregnancy.

Well, I'm almost 18 weeks now, and it has sped up a bit for me. The Dr. visits do seem so far apart, but I'm getting used to it. MY u/s in on Tuesday 8/26 we'll find out if it's a boy or a girl. I'm very excited about that. Once I find that out, I can finish my registry!

LOL..

I just found out last week I was pregnant. I knew the very first day my cycle was late. So I guess that would put me at about five weeks now. So I can't relate yet that this will be a long pregnancy, however knowing so early takes the fun out of it.

I guess I'm still in the shocked, excited, nervous stage. I don't feel any tremendous symptoms...knock on wood but I kind of want to, maybe to let reality kick in, that I have a little someone growing inside me.

Thanks for letting me share.
