I have gestational Diabetes and for the first 2 weeks on diet, I was doing good. But do get emotionally stressed once or twice a week and my values cross bounds. I am scared that I will have to go for insulin shots before long and am also scared abt the effect of my emotional-rollercoaster-rides on my baby. It is becoming too hard for me to keep my cool now-a-days. I am scared of preterm labour - a friend of mine had been thru emotionally demanding times while P/G and had a 2 mnths premee.

Any thots ?

Are you about 30 weeks now? Yes, stress can aggravate diabetes. My husband is diabetic purely from stress, when he's not stressed he can eat whatever he wants. I obviously don't know the stresses in your life and can't tell you to just try and relax, I know it doesn't work that way. Just try to hang in there a little longer and everytime you start to feel your stress rise, just stop what you're doing if you can and rub your belly and remember who you are doing it for :)
