My dd in 8th grade won $300 in scholarsh

First of all, I've seen tremendous growth in my kid this year. She finally gets the following directions, listening to deadlines and taking responsibility thing. Finally. Don't give up hope people. It just has to sink in. She ended up with straight As for the first time ever. She has always gotten good grades, but this is the first time as a straight A student and it's all of her own doing. I backed off the nagging this year and she stepped up.

So at her 8th grade graduation ceremony, she was awarded a $50 savings bond for taking care of the salt water aquarium all year, and a $250 ESA for writing an essay about a quote on socialism and capitalism.

I am so proud of her!
