Tree down...
| Wed, 06-17-2009 - 12:12pm |
I think we are living in the NRV rainforest...we have had thunderstorms and more rain and flash flooding...and last night half of one of our big trees came down. Thankfully it missed the house and the power lines, and I am waiting on a tree service to find out how much it is going to cost to take the other half of the tree down. always something isn't it.
Sorry about the tree.
Thanks Holly!
It is a Huge tree though. It had double trunks with one half splitting and breaking, and the other half still standing...so it is a hazard now. I would rather pay someone who is insured to cut the thing down. We will cut it up for firewood and burn the brush, but it is still going to cost $500-$600 which is actually less than I was expecting things could be worse though. Also asked about the mighty oak that is Really close to our house, fortunately the arborist said it was in good shape, so I'll sleep better knowing I wont have a tree falling on my head while I sleep.
Oh, what a pain to have to deal with.
