This week my *use it up* dish is tortilla chips. I have a pack of corn tortillas from a past Angel Food box. We're not big fans of those; we prefer flour tortillas. Anyway, I'm going to make those into tortilla chips by baking them and serve them w/a refried bean soup we're having for dinner tonight.
My inexpensive meal would be sloppy joes--ground beef from, again,
Oh Kelly this is going to be hard for me to come up with recipes. I'm not creative at all. In fact I envy MM b/c she comes up with alot of recipes. And I use them all the time. So what am I going to do?
Awe thanks Jess! Feel free to use my meal ideas
I'm in but things have been crazy here.
So what am I going to do?
You're going to check out the recipes that other people post and try them. You're going to look through cookbooks or recipe sites and find recipes that you think are frugal and try them. If you're stumped about how to use something up, you're going to post a *wwyd with ___?* down in the Food folder and we'll help you.
The recipes you use/meals you plan do not have to be original. Do you think I make up my own recipes? HECK NO!! In fact, one I'm about to post is something I found here back in 2001!!!
Jess, you CAN do it!!

My inexpensive meal for this week was pancakes that we had last night. It was cheap and easy!
