What are your plans for the Memorial Day weekend?

As usual, we're heading out camping. We're leaving as soon as the kids get home from school tomorrow afternoon and won't be back until Mon. afternoon.

Getting outside, enjoying the nice weather...and hopefully going to NYC on one of the days off.

Saturday morning I'm doing a charity ride, the 100 Miles of Nowhere (you ride your trainer or a short outdoor course, and are guaranteed to win in your age group in your location!), although I may end up doing the 50 Miles of Nowhere because in the afternoon I have scouts coming over to build a boat for our cardboard boat regatta at Encampment.

Sunday is all Encampment planning--I have paperwork to do, some forms to fill out, and have to finish up swaps and plan my station activities.

Monday morning we're going to the graveyard to put flags on the graves of veterans.

We are sticking close to home since our little girl is due sometime in the next 3 weeks or so. Hopefully the weather will be nice & we will go for a long walk, have a BBQ and relax as much as possible!

We are having a nice day at home, just the three of us, getting ready for the yard sale in Mid June. We are also planning on moving Johnathon from the toddler bed to the big boy bed this weekend as well.

Saturday is planting day - out early to get the seedlings (we've got the seeds we need, but we don't have a good place to do early starts so we buy seedlings of anything annual - I'm picking up several seedlings for perennial herbs so I shouldn't have to rebuy them next year. And, we're thinking of making a smallish portable type green house thing that we can use to start things like tomatoes next year, seeds are less costly than the seedlings). We've got two 4x4 beds for herbs, two 4x2 beds for veg (tomatoes, cukes, pumpkins) and a 7x10 bed here at work in the community garden that is slated for tomatoes, bush beans, and bell peppers.

Sunday is church as usual (we leave the house around 8:30 and get home around 1:00). Relaxing and prepping food for Monday's church picnic after that.

Monday is the church picnic all afternoon (noonish to 4ish)
