Ok, I have 5 sons.
We have always chosen to keep only the amount of clothing we actually needed and could use.
I aim for nine complete outfits per child--that leaves me enough wiggle room so that if I don't get to the laundry one weekend they won't be completely out of clothes on Monday morning!
I hear you on this one.
I can answer the michelle duggar ??, lol.
Now that they're older, my boys mostly wear jeans - and they have about 3 pair each, several t-shirts/long-sleeved shirts, a few nice/hanging shirts for church and two pairs of shoes. For summer, the boys have about 4 pair of shorts each....my DD takes care of her own clothes, so I have no idea about the multitude of clothes she may have in her dresser ;^)
I agree with the poster about the nightmare it is to change seasons - it usually takes me a full month to change all of the clothes over...then because we live in Michigan, we'll get either a cold spell in the summer or a warm spell in the winter - it's craziness!
lol, we do sound alike.
