This is kind of funny.... in a gross kind of way....

We got a new puppy a few weeks ago( this is not the best frugal idea ever BTW) and to make a long store short, we were using both a exercise pen with her food, a piece of sod for pottying, few toys

FTR--Walmart's return policy (at least here is just like Target's now except maybe they will take things back w/o a receipt).

Yes, over the line, especially for a doggie bed because a dog's sniffer is waaaaay more sensitive than our own. The NEXT doggie will still smell the poo (soap and water isn't good enough to keep it away from the DOG's sniffer, and the NEXT dog will probably do the same thing.

And, maybe a person had already done what you did which is WHY the dog poo'd on it.

That's how dog's do, ya know? They go where another dog has went.

But, too late. Already done.

:::sigh:::

Yes.

Put yourself in the position of the retailer. You sell kids clothing. A woman buys an outfit, her baby soils it, she decides to return it. You can't sell it, there was nothing wrong with it, and now you are being asked to give back your profit because her baby got it dirty.

"Frugal times makes all of us do things we wouldn't do if the economy was different."

I disagree. The "times" don't make us do anything. We make our choices.
