Gifts for $25

So money is much tighter this year than it was the last few years and we have a number of birthdays and then Christmas coming up to buy for. We have 3 toddlers/babies to buy for and are trying to keep each one to about $25 without coming off like we don't care. I'm a little overwhelmed with this amount because everyone in DH's family spends much more than this amount on each other.

Any tips?

A few things for christmas I done is kid video/dvd (those 30 minutes are cheaper) and books are great I got a bunch from the dollar store

maybe get a basket from the dollar store and fill that with stuff from the dollar stuff all for the right age you need to buy for

I have also just suggested that each year we all buy books or whatever is easy to find for all ages that help with a price set of no more than $25 or whatever everyone agreed on
ornaments for the tree is always nice touch for christmas

smaller kids can do those mega block sets for around $10 each set

these are just some ideas I can think of for now hope they help

Most toddler and babies actually need nothing.

If you want to buy actual toys (if theat's what everyone expects) there are actually lots of great things in that range (or much cheaper).

If you are looking for clothes, keep your eye on Kohl's clearance and landsend.com. I am almost finished with my Christmas shopping and my goal for giftgiving is a quality gift for $10-$12. I have bought some great things at landsend.com for $10 or less from their overstocks, and they always seem to have a free shipping code somewhere. Here are some cute things I found, there are lots more:

Also, at Kohls they have the Kohl's Cares books and stuffed animals that go together for $5 each. That combined with some outfit purchased on clearance would make a good gift. Here is one example:

I love shopping for good deals!

Meghan -

Do you have a Tuesday Morning store near you? I've found some great gift items there on sale. I just bought a toy that can be attached to a stroller for my nephew. The original price was $13.99 and they had it on sale for $4.99. I also bought my kids and my niece swimming tops for about $7 each instead of spending $20 each.

Another store I like to

I am a lurker, but wanted to say that TJ Maxx and Marshalls often have great deals on toys for toddlers. They also have board books for great prices. And I am sure you can buy some nice clothes reasonably there too.
