Babies don't spend any money, so they are pretty frugal!

One tip I loved was instead of buying diapers, buy gift cards for the place you would buy diapers. You never know if your baby might be allergic/sensitive to a certain type of diaper, how fast they will grow and which kind of diapers will work for them. A boy has different "needs" so what worked for your daughter might be leaky with him!
So with the gift cards you are still setting aside the $$ for diapers just not buying (or storing them) yet. So if something came up and you really needed to buy something else, you could.
Plus, if there is an outstanding deal after he's born, then you can use the gift cards to stock up!

I loved washable diapers but even with using disposible you can save money at the begining, cut the wipes in half, tiny bums rarely need a whoe one. In a pinch of if you have lots of junk towels, old sheet ect you can make home made wipes, i added a few drops of baby oil. Of course beast eeding if able to helps a bunch:0 congrats!

Yes, babies can be frugal, or they can be wickedly expensive! I'm all for used baby things whenever I can, and if you breast feed, it's free baby food and a free diet plan for you! LOL

I agree that babies aren't too unfrugal, especially if you have saved everything from when Meagan was a baby!
