I answered yes, but that needs to be clarified. I will probably write 5 checks a year. Most of the time we use online banking and the bank sends the check.
All the miscellaneous school stuff here (lunch account, field trips, etc.) has to be paid by check, and we pay our rent via check - their online payment service levies a $20 "convenience fee".
I'd prefer to see paper checks go away, but I refuse to pay extra fees over and above my bill, just
I write checks for my rent, one of my student loans, school related expenses (except tuition which is auto-withdraw), two of my credit cards since they charge outrageous fees to pay online, and my minivan payment since they charge $12 for an online payment.

Most of our bills are done by on-line with our bank, but a few things, like DH's union dues and Ds's extended day care I have to pay with check.
I still write checks for most of our things.
Our car payment, because we don't have an account with them and don't live in the same town anymore.
