Intro-your board's biggest fan:)

I'm Suz, coming out of lurkdom, to finally introduce myself! I read this board every day faithfully, and I love all of the discussions, suggestions, etc.

I am a big fan of budgeting, living within one's means, saving, etc. I am a teacher, so I have a very good job, and I make a nice steady income. I am a single mom by choice of three, so I have a lot of expenses that are unavoidable! I JUST got one out of full time daycare this last month, after TWO long years of having THREE kids in full time daycare!! What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right?

My biggest dilemmas currently are:

Saving for my emergency fund
Saving for retirement
Monthly daycare bill for two
Life insurance for me, and three kids

The greatest pluses I currently have:

Fabulous health insurance included in my salary
No debt, except the house (13 years left to pay) and the car
Pension from work is great
Solid job security - I have been teaching 16 years
VERY careful with money - don't buy it if I cannot afford it!

I can make ends meet each year....meaning when I combine my bi weekly income, and my tax return, and an extra paycheck I get from work for an additional project, I DO make enough, but there isn't much left over at all.

I am hoping to post often, although my life is PRETTY crazy:)
