August Goals
Sun, 08-01-2010 - 3:59pm

Who has goals for the month of August?

Here are mine.....

1. Continue w/the grocery & *stuff* exile.

2. Declutter guest/playroom. This is the 3rd month for this. The problem is it's in the basement and not staring me in the face. Hopefully 3rd time is a charm!

3. Make some fall camping reservations.

Here's my goals:

1. Continue to work on weekly budget and keeping the budget under control.

2. Finish decluttering the spare room.

3. Go through my school items, condensing and getting it ready to go to my new school.

4. Buy what I need for the new school year without breaking the bank.

5. Enjoy the party that I have planned for James.

Need to add another goal........plan for #4's 14th b-day at the end of the month. Mostly just means buying a gift or 2, make dinner plans, maybe plan a night for him to invite some friends over for snacks & movies.

My August goals:

1. Keep up w/grocery excile. My pantry is pretty well cleaned out, but still have a stocked freezer to tap into.

2. Use envelope system for all things. This has been a tough one for us, but when we do it we stick to our budget really well.

3. Finish going through the kids' clothes/toys/etc and store what youngest can wear, give away other stuff.

4. Get back into a good routine with the kids and school/reading/homework etc this school year. I can't believe I'll have a 1st grader and a 3rd grader! why do they grow up so fast?! :)
