Have to agree on the tree height thing. We have our tree in our back family room that has cathedral ceilings. We have a 7-8ft tree (that is what the tag said) against the 20ft+ sections of the room.

If you wait until Christmas Eve to get your tree, you can often pick them up cheap and your little son won't notice the difference.

Well, you've got a lot of good things going on... a beautiful looking beach wedding, a huge new house, new carpet... just try to remember that a lot of people would love to have those things and can't!

Your totally right! I need to be more greatful. I have a great life, a wonderful family. I just wish everything wasnt so expensive. Thanks everyone for you ideas and suggestions. We settled on a 7.5 tree from Target. It's my first fake tree, but it's beautiful. All of the 9 ft ones were skinny, this one is super cute. Anyway, thanks again!
