I am sorry that you are getting such conflicting information, that really stinks.
I think what the lady today was telling you is probably right, no one that I know that works at a school gets unemployment for school breaks...they aren't really "unemployed" during winter break, spring break,etc....it's just the schedule when you work for a school.

Oh I am so sorry to hear that. :(((. It sounds misleading. Just hang in there. I would fight nicely though. But fight it. I have never dealt with unemployment so I will do a little prayer that it all works out.
I can understand their confusion--if you're a school cafeteria worker, your normal schedule would include long periods of time off during school breaks, so that's not technically being unemployed or laid off.
