June is already over! Where does time go to ?? Half of 2010 is also over... let's take a few minutes to look back over the last

Well I didn't write any financial goals because we really didn't know where we were going to stand this year.
We have had alot happen the first half of the year and I have to say I am feeling a bit better than I was during the New Year.
My DH was laid off from his Automotive Manufacturing job when his plant shut down after he worked there for 16 yrs. And like many people in and around our area we are upside down on our mortgage loan. We feared forclosure on our home, but we have been blessed enough to pull through this and hold our own.
We read Dave Ramsey and worked to put all our money into paying off consumer debt , elimating a bill, reducing others by cutting back on cable, lowering our auto insurance by raising the deductables and dropping one car to basic coverage and
Ok Kelly you are totally an inspiration to me! Wow!! You ROCK!
I don't think I made any goals, however we did start the envelope system in January and that worked well for us. Except that we stopped in May, whoops. We are getting back on in July though. I know we spent A LOT less when it was cash. It was a bit of planning to get it all worked out, but it helped.
You gave me some great ideas for future goals!

Heather, Where do you get your perscriptions from?
When we lost our Med insurance, the cost of my DS meds went up to $126 at his reg pharmacy. We tryed Rite Aid, and Walgreens- they wanted $40.
I called Walmart and they only charge us $16 for the same meds.
If you haven't tryed them yet, give them a call.
IF YOU ARE DISTRESSED BY ANYTHING EXTERNAL, THE PAIN IS NOT DUE TO THE THING ITSELF, BUT TO YOUR ESTIMATE OF IT. AND THIS YOU HAVE THE POWER TO REVOKE AT ANY MOMENT --Marcus Aurelius
Happiness is an attitude. We either make ourselves miserable, or happy and strong. The amount of work is the same.

My script with insurance is $50 a month, without insurance it is over $400 a month and that is at Walmart, the cheapest around, so my doc wrote the script for double my dose and I cut the pills in half to make them last twice as long.
Financial
***Pay off DH's car - DONE!
***Pay off my smaller student loan - DONE!
***Save $25 every 2 weeks - YUP! I've got $325 saved already :)
Frugal
***Eat out less - doing a little better with this. Last year we averaged $146.82/month in eating out; this year it's $136.32/month, which isn't much of a savings but it's a step in the right direction!
***Develop and stick to a budget that is lower than what I spent in 2009 - FAIL.
***Quit buying so many clothes for DD - Doing very good here!
Personal
***Lose another 33 pounds to get down to a normal BMI - I don't know where I got 33; it was supposed to be 29 more lbs. Bad math, I guess. Anyway - I'm down another 11 lbs. It's an improvement - but it's not even 1/2 way. Considering that my original goal was to be done by tomorrow (DD's bday), it's disappointing that I still have 18 lbs to go :(
***Limit the time I spend on my laptop - and the time I allow DD to watch TV! - I think I'm doing better but not great.
the only thing I have done was pay off the only credit card we own
