My son has 2 different size feet by 2 sizes. I need to buy two pairs of shoes to properly fit his feet.

We go to Stride-Rite for my son's shoes because he's got feet as flat and as wide as a duck!!!

FYI, Nordstrom sells two different sized shoes for one price. I don't know if it will save you money (it is Nordstrom), but it might be worth checking into.

We had to get 2 different sized shoes as well because Gideon wears a brace on one foot. He only has to wear in every other day during the day though. We went to stride rite and they helped with sizing and gave us a discount because of needing the odd sizing issue. They were going to just sell us the one "pair" if we wanted, but DH bought both because he can wear both eventually. I don't remember the discount, but I think it was only about $30 for both pairs. They were wonderful.

Until my dd was about 9 or so she had extra wide feet. And when she was little I only put her in Stride Rites. So for a long time shoes were very expensive - more so than now that she is a teenager!

I voted $20-30. I can usually find name-brand shoes on sale at Kohls or JCPenneys

My son is hard to fit correctly, and he usually doesn't have more than two pairs

I used to spend less than 20.00 when the girls were still in kids' sizes.
