Hi and welcome to the board. I am one of the community leaders for this board who has been a type 1 for over 28 years and have been on a insulin pump for over 6 years. The best advice I can offer you is to try asking his doctor and also talking to a pharmacist, because they would be the best qualified to tell you what would be best for your husband. I myself am currently using a prenatal due to my breastfeeding, but before I did that I use to use Centrum. My doctor also had me add vitamins C 500mg, E 1000IU, and folic acid 2mg. I can honestly say that the added vitamins has kept me healthy with not getting sick with the flu and I don't get the flu shots at all even though it is said that I should being diabetic and all. I found that with the shot it made me get sick easier and with out a shot I don't get sick. I do hope you are able to find something for your husband that works for him. Do let us know what you get and if it is working for your husband. Do take care and have a fabulous day!
