I have lost 82lbs as of 1/14/04. Cool hu? Blood sugar is an average of 98 now too...I feel great. Still have about 50 lbs to go yet (maybe).

Congrats to you. How long did it take you to lose so much. I'm also trying to lose weight. I lost 20 lbs since Thanksgiving and still have alot more to lose. Therefore, I know what you must have endured. Did you change your diet or exercise or both?

Again, congratulations on your very good news.

I started on 3/5/03. I am on Weight Watchers. I watch my carb intake though and try to add a little more protien but not a lot. It has been working great for me. When I started I was on 500mg glucophage xr once a day and then after I had lost about 40lbs I went off and I have been great ever since. No drugs..just "diet" and exercise. Just keep working at it:) You will get there. I have about 58 more to lose to my personal goal.

WEll...I joined weight watchers. Eat all balanced meals

you need deternmination and the desire to lose. Don't call your eating plan a diet cuz you will fail. Make sure you eat your fruit and veggies. Blood sugar wise...just eating normal sized balanced meals and a couple snacks has helped with that.

Thank you Lynn for sharing that information with us all. I have the booklets for weight watchers that I was going to start until I found out I was pregnant and they are from 2002, so do if I were to want to start the weight watchers would I need to purchase the newer get started set? Also will it be ok while I am breastfeeding? I worry about not getting enough calories in while I'm breastfeeding. I appreciate the information so very much. Have a super day!
