I had absolutely the worst thing ever

happen to me yesterday. At least one of the worse things in my opinion. I went to pick up Maxwell out of his play pen and walk back over to a chair when I tripped over one of Avery's hotwheel cars to the point that I quickly went to put down the opposite foot that I didn't trip with to only stab my toe dirrectly down onto the floor and heard the worst sounding crack ever. All I know is that I started to almost scream in pain while on the phone with DH that I hung up on him by accident and when he called back I told him what I had done in which he told me if the pain got any worse to call him immediately that way he could get off from work to come home. Well, I toughed it out since we really do need the extra 10 hours of over time very badly, but he did put in a call to my Endocrinologiest (diabetic doctor) on his cell phone, but got no answer immediately. How ever my doctor did call back to tell me what to look for since I had no idea if it was actually broken and what he described fit my toe exactly so he told me to tape it to the adjoining toe as long as it wasn't turned in a funny way and that it would heal just fine that way, because there wasn't a whole lot anybody could do about a broken toe. It wasn't turned funny just kind of curved toward the ground in which I considered not turned funny and that saved us a truckload of money with those high costs that ER costs for everything. I just have to live through the pain and keep it elevated when I can to keep the swelling down to a minimum.
Well, we got my oldest Avery's birthday cake ordered yesterday that way it will be ready on Sunday his birthday, which we picked out a Spiderman cake due to his being so into Spiderman for quit a while and we got him a spiderman costume pajamas with slippers, bedding set, and will also be getting him the Leapster multivideo learning system with a few more cartridges for it. He has been bugging us for a video game for a while, so we decided on a learning system for now until he gets much older then we will switch to something else then. I still cannot believe my first born will be 3 years old on Sunday, which I have to admit that it makes me want to cry due to him not being a baby no longer of course he will always be my baby though.

Thank you so much Andrea for the vibes, because I can use all Ic an get. Boy, who would have thought something so small as a toe could hurt so dang much. Now I definately know why people who break their toe say it is one of the most painful things to bread due to having to walk on it. I have found that it hurts a whole ton when I have to be on my feet so often, but of course I have to be on my feet quit a bit due to my oldest always trying to get into things. Oh well, it will heal in good time and I will survive it and I will just pray that I nevr break another bone since this is my first time I ever broke a bone that is with out surgery doing it for me.
I will post some pictures of Avery with his birthday cake late on Sunday, because I want to make sure I have something to remember that day. Oh, also DH always seems to loose the pictures on our other camer when he goes to download them and we already have lost way to many pictures. I know your right about him enjoying his Spiderman presents very much. Take care, keep me posted on things with you and have a wonderful day!
