Is aspirin okay to take with glucophage?

Hi,
I was wondering if aspirin is okay to take with Glucophage XR? I can't find anything online that says it shouldn't be taken together, but thought I'd ask here. I usually take Tylenol but I've had some bad headaches the last few days because of my TMJ (jaw misalignment), and I thought aspirin would work better since it's an anti-inflammatory. Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks
Jo

How about checking with your local pharmacy? Pharmacists are usually great sources for this type of question. (I don't think there are any contraindications, tho.) Or even call your doctor or diabetes educator...ask the pros!

My doctor has told me in the past, when needed I could take advil or any for of ibuprofen with my glucophage xr. So I do not see any harm, but just to be safe, check with the pharmacist or doctor. :)
