In everything I've read, it's always stated to not apply lotion between your toes..but doesn't say why! Anyone know "why" it's not recommended?

Angie,

It is because it keeps the tissue moist and that encourages yeasts and fungi to grow. You may use a small amount of talcum powder between your toes but it is best to just dry them with a soft towel.
