knowledgeable about food. Ok, I have been eating iceberg and romaine salad with cuccumber, carrots, bacon bits, American cheese, croutons, and blue cheese salad dressing for over a week now. It is the only thing I crave and want to eat, but I don't know if it is so good for me to only be eating salad three or four times a day. Can you tell me if there is anything wrong with that or if it isn't good for my body? I do have a some glasses of milk as well with my salads. I am worried about my appetite and so is my husband who keeps trying to get me to eat something else besides just salad. Granted I also want to lose weight, but I am not eating it to help me with that I just absolutely have to eat it or I do not want anything else. Yes, I have thought about forcing myself to eat other things, but I know it will only end up coming back up on me due to me just not wanting nothing else. I'm really hoping somebody can help me out with this one or at least enlighten me on this subject. I apologize for being overly dramatic here, but I did not know how else to get my point across to you all. Take care and enjoy your day!

Hey! Do you eat the dried seaweed? I'm sure most people reading this are practically gagging! When I first tasted it, I thought it tasted like popcorn. Someday, on your travels thru Illinois, we'll take you to our favorite oriental restaurants.

Lily still loves to cuddle at 16 months old, so you never know..Maxwell might too!

I'm glad you sent Clint a card..I hope he understands and sends you a nice reply. Maybe the two of you will find it easier to talk about thru your keyboards!

We're going to go out and play now for awhile before nap time! Have a happy day.

Hi Gabby, it is so great of you getting back to me so quickly. You are correct in me being in the Inland Northwest, but to be more precise I live in a small city just like 10 to 15 minutes away from Spokane so now you know. I love your blonde comment in which it made me laugh since I have not heard it in so very long now, so I just had to laugh to myself some (sorry).

I'll let you know if I get some protein shakes or not. I know I use to love the Ensure diet shakes in French Vanilla, but of course I got them from Walmart in which they stopped selling them completely. I loved those so much and used them all the time so now I have to figure out what I want instead in a protein shake. I hope I can find me one in a Vanilla flavor since I prefer that the best. I am also thinking of getting myself some Chromium to add to my vitamins since I have read that it helps a persons body to use up fat better. I'll let you know if I find it to work or now this way you have a honest persons opinion on it.

Oh, tell me about men. They are so far out in space at times with their thinking in that I now know whey some woman consider men nothing more than another child to take care, which I have seen before my very own eyes with my own husband. So it is so true that men always carry that inner child in them through out their entire lives. It isn't bad, but can be bothersome at times. I guess I shouldn't complain so much about my husband being so forgetfull since I did marry him after living with him for close to 3 years prior to marriage, but some how I don't remember him being so forgetfull then like he is now due to him always getting me something on Valentines day. Oh well, at least he offered me some money to pick out my own gifts since he had no idea what I wanted and neither did I after he asked me the day after. Just one of those added bothersome things that we all find after living with a person for so long, which his other two are not being able to sit still to long and always having to touch things at the store even with knowing that he isn't going to buy it. I could go on, but I will leave it at that for now. LOL

Wow, I met somebody else who loves oriental food like me. I live on it as much as I can when I am not in one of my phases of foods like I happen to still be with salad. LOL I know I know, what is up wit all the salad? If you have any ideas as to why I keep eating salads then go ahead and share it with me, because I still cannot figure it out to this day. Oh, I so appreciate the links to those places and the help with the suggestion of protein shakes, because I sure needed the help with ideas that is for sure. So take good care of yourself and don't worry so much about the not eating the best when stressed since we all tend to go in the bad direction at that time, which as you know does not help any of us to loose those pounds we so want to loose. Keep me posted on things with you and do keep posting with us, because I would sure miss you if you didn'g occasionally post to us and I would hate to have to go and find you. LOL It is TGIF day and how glad I am of that with hubby having the weekends off especially with me now having to get up at the crack of dawn for just his coming week due to his work place shutting down for their matenance to be done on the equipment so that means my husband who does that work for them. Ok, I am off to get me some water and to check out those sites.

Hey Denise! We have had Spring like weather with it being 56 yesterday and 48 the day before. We were looking for 48 again today, and rain..which it's doing now! We had too much fun outside. This was the first that Lily's really been able to "play" outside with us, and she wasn't ready to come in, so we put her in her stroller and Bailey rode his scooter as we took a walk. It was great to be able to get out.

Trader Joe's is the best place to buy ground flax seed which is an excellent source of Omega 3's and fiber.

What kind of soy recipes do you use? Any source where I can locate some?

Thanks

:-)

Geez, I am so jealous of you. because my oldest has been asking to go outside and I have to say that nasty work "NO" to him due to our lowsy cold weather in which I so want it to be like your weather instead. I can't wait to take the boys outside to play or even go for a walk, which I am so ready to do both if the weather would just cooperate with me. LOL Like mother nature is going to listen to me, but it never hurts to try at least is the way I feel about it. It sounds like you all had a wonderful time together with all that fun playing going on. I hope that you get to do it again very soon, because I know how much fun it is and also a good source of some excercise as well. Take care and have a stupendous weekend!
