Well the doctor did see him very quick, im still not so sure about the heart burn thing.Wouldnt it hurt only after he eats it only hurts when he coughts.Anouther thing I was thinking was a pulled muscle he has just stated to work out. If it carries on after the meds kick in that they gave him im going to drag him to the emergency, even if I need to hit him with a brick to knock him out.

I'm so sorry about your brother People just don’t seem to realize that heart attacks don’t have an age range any more, you hear of teems having them now. You should o much like my husbands he to has High cholesterol, overweight, high PB "stroke level" as well as sleep apnea which he was supposed to use a machine at night but will not. He says he can’t go to sleep with a machine stuck to his head.

I hate my C-Pap, too. It drives my cats crazy. They think I'm being attacked. Too bad the C-Pap can't solve my sleep problems this week. I have pain in my left hip all the way down to my ankle sometimes. Am going to see the rheumatologist next week.

Good luck getting your husband on the straight and narrow. It's tough caring about someone when they don't care enough to take care of themselves.

Oh Julie, I am so glad to hear that you were able to get your husband into the doctor right away and get him something to help with the heart burn that his doctor thinks he has. You could be right about him having a pulled muscle in his chest area or maybe it is due to his caughing, which I know all to well causes some pain to the abdomen area by the muscles being tightened so hard to try to prevent organs from pushing upward into the throat area. I sure hope that he starts to feel so much better and that you are feeling a bit better about the whole situation with having had him see his doctor.

Believe me I know all to well how stubborn men can be when it comes to getting any help for anything at all due to their thinking they can handle it on their own and to afraid to get help with having to be so macho. I do hope that you don't have to take your husband to he ER or hit him over the head to get him there. Do let us know how things are going with both of you, because we all will be thinking about you both. Take care, have a wonderfully relaxing weekend!
