Well, I have gone back my Accu Chek Complete, because my fingers are getting sore due to the Accu Chek Active needing more blood dropped on the strips and the strips not being anything like the wonderful comfort curve ones that suck the blood in for you. Now my question is this for those of you who down load your meters information onto the computer. What did the program run you for what is needed to do that? I ask, because being back on the Complete I would really like to be able to down load the information such as amount of carbs I ate for a given amount of insulin, so that I am able to send it by e-mail to my doctor in which I don't have to go in so often with not having the money to afford to do that as often as I should since my husband was just layed off last week.
I am sure hoping that one of you can give me some information to my question, because I sure would love to get the program needed while we still have great insurance up until the end of this month. Or either that just give me the link to where I can find the information for myself, because I really do not mind that at all. take care and have a splendid day!

I'm glad you like the Comfort Curve strips. I worked on the development team when the company was still Boehringer Mannheim, so it's nice to know all our hard work is appreciated.
Thank you so very much for the suggestion. I guess I wanted to find out before I made the call, but looks like I will be making the call anyways to see what is available prices if there is one at all. So here is to hoping that it does not cost a thing, because at this time it would be so much easier on me with my husband having just lost his job just 3 days over a week now and still has not found another one yet.
I can only tell you that I was so very in fact super pleased by the comfort curve strips that I never want to go back to the other ones, because after a while of poking your finger tips they tend to build up a callouses on them in making it so difficult to get out a big enough drop of blood to use with the old test strips. When the new ones came out it was the answer to my prayers with the great work of them they just suck up enough blood to perform the test and no need to sqeeze or run your hand through some hot water at all. So you did a great job for us diabetics with the helping to develop such wonderful testing strips. Thank you for working to get them out to us so quickly. Take care and do have a wonderful day!
