Exercise...stretch bands

Have seen several comments about finding some stretch bands...like the ones with the Walk away the Pounds videos.
1)can't swear to it, but i think this is the same stuff the physical therapists get by the bolt(like fabric almost or cord)so is you see one maybe ask if they can give you some. I think those come in 4 different weights if what the last PT told is right. he gave me i think 2 different weights of it. BUT if you do not have access to that, Target does sell stretch bands(with handle grips) or similar things and I think Walmart might also. If they do not, I am sure you could find them online, possible even for cheap prices at Ebay. But Prevention magazine also has a web site which i cant think of the name of tonite. Oops i found it. its http://www.walkerswarehouse.com

actually there is a lot of useful info at that site also, and it does list some resistance bands, and the fitness tube kit is the one that is like a long stretchy cord which handles on both ends. My guess is you may very likely find that type of thing locally once you know what to look for(and with no shipping it should be cheaper)...

Hi! Yes, they do come in atleast 4 different weights because I have 4 different ones. One of them came with the Walk away the Pounds DVD set, but the other 3 came in a package in the exercise equipment section of Wal Mart. I think they were about $8 for the set of 3.
I like the Prevention magazine! My subscription expired..I should renew it. I picked up the April issue of SHAPE yesterday, and it's a very good issue. Thinking about subscribing to it.
I have a stretch band collection from a couple of PT treatment sessions. Have tied knots in them and they look strange. I think it's time to get some new ones. May look at Walmart. That's where I bought my DVD Sansome set. Went to www.justaboutfitness.com and discovered that there are a bunch of other tapes by her. Do you like the one you have?
Thanks for the info.
