Julie: I do not know about Type 2 Diabetes. Just
what I have grown up with..Type 1--I use
Insulin--no pills. Yes, I can get that low
and lower, even into a convulsion. It can
go past convulsion...(if the person has taken
too much insulin, hasn't eaten enough food,
has done way too much physical activty, etc.
It has to all be balanced out.
Your Doc told you to eat 5-6 meals a day, with
snacks in between? Have you been doing that?
If not, why not? He wants to see if this will
work to keep your sugars level, probably.
I'm just thanking God, Girl, that you are OKAY.
Please eat your 5-6 smaller meals a day. Thank you!
Well Julie, it is not normal to feel scared in
in your own body. So I don't think that sugar
level is normal No. I've never asked a normal
a Normal person. I've been Diabetic since I was
3 years old so I surely don't remember. Just a
minute...if a normal person doesn't eat most of
the day, his sugar level will get quite low. But
the brain will detect this and signals the liver to
send out sugar (which is in storeage there) to the
rest of the body. If a normal person doesn't eat for
T guess several days then the sugar storeage in the liver
will run out and then the person will Kaput. Or something
like that. Ask Mary-Frances about that she is more
intuned with the technicalities.
Well, they have been saying between I think 80 and 120 for
Diabetic is good. And a Diabetic is supposed to be as
close as possible to a normal person. But I think a Normal
person should be able to reach 65(don't quote me)with no problem.
