My mind is mush. I appreciate all the help everyone has given me..this board is great!
So, basically, I should concern myself more with the amount of carbs at each meal. And not worry so much about the whole day? So pizza is definetly out. But say if my numbers stay normal after a sandwich then sandwiches are o.k. and not worry about them? Am I getting this right? It would make life easier if I am. I am soo hungry all the time..it's depressing.
The WW sounds good. I actually have a girlfriend who is a counsellor for them. She lives over an hr away but maybe she can help me. I'll e mail her later.
So a number of 140 in Canadian numbers would be 7.7. Looking at my sheet, I had quite a few numbers over 7.7. This too was during the time I was on my drs diet. His diet included lots of veggies, a little fruit, whole grain carbs and protein with every meal. Of course the pizza wasn't on there...lol..but I'm allowed a little cheat and I really had no idea the effect it was gonna have. Who knew. I do not remember what I ate the time my number went to 11.2. But it was something I made for my son and I for lunch. But these numbers are for sure not normal for a non diabetic right?
Thanks so much everyone for your help. Given the fact my dr does not seem to know what he's doing...you guys make me feel much better.
Thanks
Sue
