Hi everybody I sure have missed you all so very much and sorry for my being MIA, but it is rather hard to do anything when you cannot see a thing. My ulcer or infection is still not in the clear yet, but it is getting smaller so I am still having to go with out it. The contact department made a big mistake when they ordered my contact in which I was not happy with them at all since I need my left contact to see anything at all with only being able to where the one in that eye so they gave me a loaner today since it was their mistake and not mine. I am able to see enough to post and respond once again, which makes me feel so much better especially not being able to do much of anything at all since I can't see a thing with no contacts. I sure wish I would of had glasses to wear for with out my contacts, but I have not ever had any made since I went to contacts especially after all the teasing and looks I get when I wear my coke bottle bottom glasses as many call them so contacts was the way I have gone for years. Just shows that you never know when you might need the one thing that gets you upset about such as my glasses.

I will try my hardest to get to the posts, but it may take me several days to do so since I have missed a weeks worth already. Ughhhhhhhh I can do it I know I can just gotta put all my efforts in to getting it done now though. lol So take very good care of yourself and now that I am back with you all again. Yay! Have a fabulous weekend!

Awwwwwww Kathi, it did work with the ulcer getting much smaller. I just have to keep putting the one drop in my eye only 3 times for a week than go to 2 times a week up until I see the doctor for it again. I just know come next tme around it will be gone for good, but he did say I will have a small scaring from this that will be there and that is fine with me just as long as they start getting things taken care of sooner than later. I will let you know what happens with my eye since I am so wanting it to be gone now. Have a wonderful weekend!

Awwwwwww Carlie, you sure now how to make a gal feel so wonderful about herself. I am so happy to be back with everybody, because without members such as yourself I would have nobody to talk with even if it is through posts. So just keep leaving posts and wonderful ones to boot. Take super care of yourself and do have a very splendid day!

Denise

Am SO glad to see you back on line!! I don't mean just because we missed you SO MUCH, but because it must have been so hard for you to keep going without at least ONE contact in!!! Really happy to see you made in back on here and DO have at least one contact in.

Also hope they figured out why the scratch happened or at least were able to determine it was NOT due to a bad contact(so at least you can be assured its safe to put the contact Back in!!).

Think I can maybe be a little bold and speak for everyone on this board. DO not worry about being a little behind here!!! Especially with a family and 2 little kids at home, I suspect there is a bunch of catch up needed there too. We DO Miss you, but confess family does need to come first and SO DOES your health!!!

Especially with recently becoming pregnant again, you really do not need any more pressures or stress!!! Hang in there, and do what you can AS you can, and if it takes a little time so be it!!! Do NOT let not being on line stress you out!!!

Can tell ya have been sending doxie rays from here(and am sure twinkie is looking down from Rainbow Bridge and sending them too(she knew how stressed I got once in a blue moon when i managed to drop or misplace MY glasses)...and I confess to having I think the last 3 sets of glasses yet!!! I swear one of these days I gonna donate one of the sets since i have coke bottle ones too, so am guessing that even if they are old....am guessing they do not get that many super thick lenses donated!! Doxie rays have been sent from a doxie on line group in the past and seem to have helped problems and health get better!!!

Awwwww Thank you so very much. I am glad to know that I do not need to be so stressed over missing posts since you are right about family coming first along with health. I think the Doxie rays have helped me out tremendously since the ulcer is getting smaller by the day. Who knows maybe you Doxie and my Terrier mix are looking down over us right now together. I like to think that all animals go to the same place and are together since I know how they do love to have companionship so very much.

Wow, it sure makes me feel better knowing I am not the only one who gets frustrated with their vision when it comes to glasses or contacts. I have to always be looking for my reading glasses since I need them

How long before you can put the contact back in?

Sounds like you're on the road to recovery. Yipee!

Yes, I am on the road to recovery. How ever I have to wait until I see the eye doctor again before I can put the contact back in, which my next appointment is not until May 10th and that is so far away from now. I guess I just have to tough it out for a while and things will get back to normal with my vision. Take good care and have a fabulous day!
