I called my doctor regarding the mini med machine you were telling me about; well i finally have an app set for the 10th of nest month to see if i can get it. I really do hope so; they have got to do something for me. This feeling bad on and off and at any second has to stop, it’s not getting any better but worse. I have not really had any bad crashes but a lot more highs in the 160 to 180 but as always still my lows in the 40 and 50's. What im having a hard time with is when im out with my little one and im in a store or driving and i get instant tiredness to where i can fall a sleep any second it hits so hard. There has been a couple of times the last couple of weeks where i have gone to sit down as im so tired and than the next thing i know is im waking up with my daughter next to me. Also i have noticed that im starting to have the fast heartbeat with the highs which is very confusing because that was always my poke to let me know my sugar was getting low so i could check, now i don’t have any clue if it's high or low if it happens when im out and don’t have my meter. As i said the doctor had to do something i can’t take this, maybe the machine will give some answers! And once again thank you for the info on the machine

Julie;

I have to caution you about driving or operating machinery. Please test your blood sugar before you start driving. If your sugar is borderline low correct it then. If it is too high eat some protein. This is especially important to do if you are going to take precious cargo (your children)

As you are aware I have been having problems with my blood sugar since they started me on insulin. I now carry my meter in my purse so that I can use it anytime I need to. I have a study meter that I need to use in the mornings but other than that I use the meter in my purse. I bet you will find that there are a lot of us around here with two meters, one at work and one at home! By the way I thought I was going to not make it when my blood sugar was 52. Last week I had a 57. It is so shocking to me because I will be doing just fine and then suddenly crash. Of course there is nothing like doing this when you are away from home and in a lecture about diabetes no less!

Just a thought and maybe it will help you.
