Hey Group,
well I am happy with my morning fasting the past couple of days.. yesterday it was like 92 today it was 93.. :) but Question is this.. I am on my cycle..right now .. so will that make your blood sugar go up or your blood sugar go down.. because if it makes it go up high then hey I am doing really good.. If its not accurate should I still test during this.. Yea yea yea do what the doctor orders lol.. okay just trying to get out of testing for three days:) bye for now room Have a great day:) bye bye Melody

Hi Melody, yes your period could affect your blood glucose readings.

For some it can raise or lower blood sugar, but remember we are all so different. Just remember that what your body does one month doesn't mean it will be that way each and every month since hormones do fluctuate, which I know that progesterone does raise blood sugar. Sorry, but that means you still need to check even though many of us would like to go a few days with no need to check such is life though. LOL

I am type 2 as you know and I eat 3 snacks a day and 3 meals. If just having 3 meals a day works for you good...but it doesnt' for me. I have lows if I don't eat every 2-3 hrs.
