I wondered if there is anyway to bring down your glucose level when it gets too high? Exercise, etc? Thanks.

What ever you do don't excercise with high blood sugar since the stress on the body can cause your blood sugar to go up even higher. I was told the best way to bring down high blood sugar is to relax and drink plenty of water since stressing over a high blood sugar only raises while the water cleans out your body by flushing it out. Also continue with your normal routine as if your blood sugar was not high. Make sure to check it every 30 minutes to see if it is coming down that way when it does eventually come down it doesn't go low on you.

Hope this helps you out some. I have done all of the above and it seems to help me, but I also take insulin for my diabetes. Take care and have a great day!

I don't laugh at that picture since it is an automatic way of handling a high blood sugar by thinking if you burn some of it off it will bring it down. Believe me so many have found that to not work at all and instead find their sugar has gone up even more from the stress of excercising on the body. Just plain old common sense to me, but not the way to handle a high blood sugar. The things we find out is simply amazing to me. Take care and have a super terrific day!
